Is Singapore Hotter than Dubai?
The answer to the question above is a big NO! No, Singapore is not as hot as Dubai, but that depends on which time of the year we’re talking about.
Singapore is located in a tropical environment, while Dubai is situated in a desert region. Moreover Singapore does not have seasons to speak of. As such, there is relatively-little variance in the weather throughout the year. And on average temperatures may peak at 33ºC (91ºF) throughout the day and descend to 23ºC (74ºF) at night.
By contrast, Dubai has two seasons, summer and winter. During the summer the daytime can get, on average, as hot as 38º (100ºF) and at night as cool as 26ºC (79ºF). That is notably higher than Singapore. But during Dubai’s winter, temperatures descend to an average of 22ºC (72ºF) during day and 12ºC (54ºF) at night. So at wintertime, the daytime in Dubai is even cooler than the nighttime in Singapore.
Conclusively, Singapore is not as hot as Dubai during the latter’s summer months (April to October). But Dubai is significantly cooler than Singapore during its winter months (October to April).
